What this is

Print Graph Paper is a free, browser-based tool for generating and printing custom graph paper. Pick a grid — square, dot, lined, engineering, isometric, hexagonal, polar or logarithmic — adjust the size, spacing and color, and print it straight from your browser or save it as a PDF.

Who it's for

Students working through math homework, engineers sketching quick diagrams, artists blocking out isometric scenes, planners journaling on dot grids — anyone who needs a specific kind of paper right now and doesn't want to dig through a drawer or a search engine for it.

Why I built this

I'm a wife to a loving husband and a mom of two kids, and somehow it's always the night before school when someone needs graph paper for homework. After one too many last-minute scrambles digging through drawers or searching for a decent printable PDF, I figured I'd just build the thing myself — something quick enough to use every single time it comes up.

How it works

Everything runs locally in your browser. There's no account to create, no file to upload, and no server-side processing — the grid is drawn live as you adjust the controls, and "Print / Save as PDF" simply hands that off to your browser's own print dialog.

Why it's free

This started as a simple utility because the alternative — hunting for a printable PDF online — was more annoying than it needed to be. It stays free and open to use for the same reason.
